Excellent Customer Service
I purchased a Sanctuary shirt on the Rohan website last week which had been reduced from £80 to £55 in the sale. The very next day I happened to notice that there were further reductions in the sale and was rather frustrated to see my shirt reduced to £39! If I hadn't been on holiday and wanting to wear my new shirt to go hiking I'd have sent it straight back and reordered so I decided to phone their customer service team. When I explained my situation and intention to reorder, without hesitation they offered to refund the difference to my PayPal account, given the hassle the returns process would have caused both parties. Very satisfied customer here!

Inappropriate data management practices
Have been using Rohan for 30 years. Bought in the sale and used deliver to store. Could not believe my eyes. Product in a clear bag with all my details printed on a form clearly visible to all. I had given these details for the purchase but had not given consent for all of the supply chain to see.
Complained but told that is their system to make it easier for THEM with no concept about data management and fraud.
Have complained formally to the Information Commissioners Office but because of a backlog there may be a delay until they are able to look at this.
So if you don’t want all your personal details including e mail and phone numbers to be visible to everyone don’t use this service. I will not be using this system again and because of the poor response from customer services probably not be using Rohan again.
Despite Rohan suggesting this is OK it’s not. I did not consent to my data being used in this way and it’s unnecessary for the warehouse or Shop to have these details. Notifications come centrally and it has a name and get no which is all that is required. Not reassured at all and will not use again and now have a very nasty taste in my mouth re Rohan. I thought they would know better.

It has become pointless visiting Rohan shops. I made a a special trip to Marlborough today to buy some clothing that was in the sale. I don't expect to get everything I wanted, but I got zero because every single sale item in my size was not available. I could have paid full price of course for the items I wanted but in a colour that was not on sale. I'm beginning to think that Rohan sales are a scam to entice you into buying full priced products. I love Rohan stuff, but I'm not paying £72 for a pair of shorts :-)

Lack of diversity
I regularly receive the fliers and marketing material from Rohan advertising sales etc. and have long been disturbed by the lack of diversity of the models in it. They are always the same types, white, clean limbed, slim, individuals. You seem not to sell products to the wide variety of people who actually live in the UK, and might be interested in your products. A little diversity would be welcome.

I was in your stow on the wold branch and would just like to say how incredibly rude and uninterested the staff are! Especially the gentleman named Paul. I ended up in a lovely shop just down the road and found exactly what I was looking for with staff that actually cared to acknowledge my presence the polar opposite of Rohan! Just an extra note: Paul it would seem is leaving 5 star reviews for his own place of work and 1 star reviews for other local businesses eg Mash and Humphries Shoes, how charming to be trying to drag local businesses down!

EU customer premium of 40%
I live in an EU country while Rohan is a UK country.
Bought a pair of shorts for approximately 80 euros and ended up with customs duty charges of approximately 36 euro due to Brexit charges. I had looked on Rohan site for delivery information and it only showed freight rates, estimated delivery dates and nothing else. Or at lest I thought it did. I subsequently went back and found that clicking on the delivery title brought up a drop down list which refers to customs charges being payable in country of importation. However, this only appears a few seconds after you click it and is literally only displayed for one second. I timed it. Very convenient for Rohan but very inconvenient and costly for unwary customers in the EU. P.S. I tried to post this review via Trustpilot on the Rohan site and it would not accept it.

Great service
Great service - as usual in my experience. Really happy using Rohan and their products.
Excellent customer service on both counts
I have a 35 year old Rohan jacket on which the zip had broken. I used the online service to request a replacement zip (just £25 which I thought was very reasonable as it included postage both ways). The first attempt didn't go through due to a problem with my credit card (nothing to do with Rohan, it's an ongoing issue with that card) so I used a different card and received an email with a postage label and a bar coded form to put in with the jacket. Duly sent this off and received the jacket back within the specified 14 days, with a new zip. High quality repair, all very good. When my credit card bills arrived, I noticed that there was a payment to Rohan on both cards I had used, although I had only had one confirmation from Rohan, so the first payment had gone through after all. I emailed Rohan on a Thursday evening and the following day I got an email from an actual person asking for a photo of the credit card bills with all identifying data removed, which I sent. On the Monday I got a phone call saying they had looked into it, there clearly had been a problem with the first payment as it had gone through but not correctly, so it had not triggered the acknowledgment email. They would reimburse the overpaid £25 and this arrived the next day. None of this was Rohan's fault but they sorted it out very quickly and efficiently. I love Rohan clothes and this has reinforced that.

Fabulous customer service
I placed an order with Rohan but made a mistake on the delivery address. I immediately called their customer services and was told that someone would call me the next day to look into the problem. I received a call at 3 mins past 9am to tell me that they had already sorted out the problem but wanted to call so that I was not concerned. Friendly, helpful and efficient people giving great customer service!

Refund Not Received
Returned 2 items due to size issue, and despite receiving confirmation emails stating both items had been received and would be refunded, I have only received payment for 1.
I have spent over a week now chasing payment of the second amount, which is still not received.
I am concerned to see other reviews on here where people have experienced the same issue.

Deplorable service
I have owned several Rohan products which are extremely good.However, I sent my jacket off for repair over a month ago,and despite speaking to four different customer service representatives, I am still waiting to hear when I'm getting the jacket back.
Any time I have sent items off to a company for repair I have had a confirmation email to say that they have received it,and what the repairs will be etc.I have had no such communication!And it it is I who have had to do all the communicating.
On the website they offer a good reasonably priced repair service which they encourage people to use- I will never use it again!! The service is deplorable.
I am now without my only waterproof jacket thanks to Rohan!!!
Due, solely ,to the intervention of a team manager called Jay,the situation has been saved,and I now have my jacket back repaired and at no cost .
Jay has kept in contact with me daily for a week,until the jacket was returned.This is the level of service customers expect from Rohan,but,sadly I didn't receive from four staff members.

I purchased a Rohan Jacket from…
I purchased a Rohan Jacket from Foothills in Sheffield. I returned it because one of the pressed studs came off and I'd only worn it about 6 times. This is very unusual for Rohan clothing, I have never had a problem with any of their clothing.
I returned the coat to Foothills who promptly returned it to Rohan. I expected the coat to be repaired. Imagine my delight when 5 days after returning the coat. I received a brand new coat . Thankyou to Foothills and Rohan for excellent customer service.

Missing Refund
Returned 2 Rohan jackets, due to sizings issues. Customer service normally excellent. However due to an by Rohan refund not input correctly. Still waiting for refund of the 4 December. Customer service department not really taking ownership. Will have to contact my bank to arrange for refund due to lost transaction. Very disappointed at Rohan for this level of service. Will have to think twice about buying from this company again
